"Paris Windows"

This image was a detail part of the acrylic painting I did called "Sunset in Paris". I thought the structure of this building was very interesting. The color of it would change throughout the day, from light blue in the morning to purple in the evening and green at night from the lights below. It had rust and water marks which artists have always been attracted to. The terra cotta chimney caps were also a neat contrast of materials to paint. This building was housing located across from the apartment I was staying at in Paris, France. |

It rained frequently when I was in Paris but not very hard. The clouds would come out and rain for a bit then break up. This sunset was after it had rained during the morning hours. |
