One place that I love going to is the small lake of Oso Flaco. It's just beautiful! You park in this small parking lot, walk down a wide trail (large enough for a vehicle) and on both sides are full with lush bushes and the trial has full tree cover canopy. You come to a fork where you could keep going strait and walk into the Guadeloupe dunes, sit there right off the trail and fish, or turn to your left and walk down an L-shaped dock / walkway over the lake. The walkway has places to stop and sit to look around or fish from and than once you step onto ground on the other end you walk on a wood pathway for about two miles to the Pacific Ocean. There are also many animals, mostly birds and raccoons. When I was about 16 years old some friends and I carried a little boat to where the walkway over the water is now and sat and fished until the boat almost sunk from the water seeping in.
