While painting this landscape, I stumbled across many problems. During this time in my life I was going through an artists block. All the artworks I was working on at the time were "stuck". It was the same with all my drawings and paintings. I couldn't finish any of them. I didn't what-to-put-where. I thought Anxiety would never be done. The Proccess: Anxiety started with the foreground (trees, and rocks). I had deadlines for this painting so I put my paint brush on the canvas and made a few long curved & swirly brush strokes with my favorite red and WOW! I loved the contrast between the red on top of the Phalo Blue background. Then, added some yellow ocher, another favorite of mine, and molded my canvas with the different values of red and yellow lines. I know it wasn't the best painting I can do but I love how it SHOWS you what I went through and what I was feeling.
